Parents On Duty - Spring 2012
家長輪值表
RCLS Parents School Duty
Introductions
- FHBC provides facilities for RCLS. As a tenant of FHBC, we should
follow FHBC policies that require RCLS to post hall monitoring during class
hours to ensure the order in classrooms and hallways, as well as students'
safety, especially during wedding/funeral events at FHBC
- RCLS is a non-profit organization and all staff members are
volunteers. Parents of language classes require performing TWO duties per
semester
- Each family should sign up for duties on the day of
registration. A $50 deposit is required from each RCLS family that has a child
in language classes. The deposit will be returned upon completion of both
duties
- TWO duties should come from each of
- Student Affairs duties (hall monitoring during class hours or
parking lot traffic control during church events). This is a mandatory duty for
each family except for those parents who also enroll in language classes.
Parents who perform hall monitoring duties will be asked to arrive at RCLS no
later than 1:10 PM. Duties include maintaining the order before the class
starts and during recessions
- PTA or Academic Affairs duties. Each family may choose a duty
either for PTA or for Academic Affairs. Note that Academic Affairs duties
generally require parents being able to speak/understand Mandarin Chinese in order
to perform judge duties
- Student Affairs staff will contact parents on duty via e-mail or
phone call by Thursday while school is in session. For those parents who cannot
present for duty in the assignment week should contact Student Affairs staff in
advance so that a substitute can be arranged from those families in the waiting
list
